The Little Gym provides a comprehensive support system designed to guide you from your first day of training through every stage of your business ownership.
Item 11 - Franchisor's Assistance, Advertising, Computer Systems, and Training
Review of franchise site information; provide specifications for design, layout, décor, fixtures, signage, and opening inventory. For first location, one member of training team provides two to three days of pre-opening assistance and training at the Franchised Business location. Additional trainers available at then-current training fee plus reimbursement of costs.
$500 initial training fee due before attendance of Internship Training. Initial training program ('Bootcamp Training') consists of virtual and in-person training totaling one to two weeks: approximately five days of virtual training (3-5 hours), followed by Internship Training (two to three days) at an approved Gym location. Launch Training must be completed no later than 30 days before opening. Total training: 30-44 hours classroom, 53-56 hours on-the-job.
Franchisor loans one copy (digital or hard copy) of confidential Manual containing information necessary to the System. Current Franchise Operations Manual contains 178 pages.
Provide knowledge and expertise regarding the System through on-site visits, printed/filmed materials, electronic information, meetings, seminars, telephone, and email communications. Approve or disapprove marketing materials within 10 business days. Establish and administer membership program, gift card acceptance program, loyalty program, and master insurance program.
Provide site selection guidelines, minimum standards for Gym sites, demographic information sources, and site selection counseling and assistance. Evaluate site applications and conduct on-site evaluations.
Franchisor retains right to prescribe optional and mandatory continuing training programs. Currently requires attendance at regional training each year. May require up to 15 days per year of group training courses, charging up to $500 per person per day. Periodic conferences may be required with fee up to $1,500 per attendee (currently $1,000).
Franchisees pay continuing monthly contribution of up to 2.5% of Gross Sales (currently 1%). NAF used for creation and development of marketing, advertising, and related programs and materials.
Must license proprietary TLG Software including front desk management, POS system, online enrollment, email marketing tool, customer management system. Monthly Technology Fee up to $399. Start-Up Equipment and Inventory Package includes $7,175-$9,000 technology package.
